Tianjin: September 01 2025: Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Planning Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary visited the Luban TVET Exhibition Hall, underscoring the importance of Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for sustainable growth, human capital development, and stronger economic ties between Pakistan and China.

They also interacted with seven Pakistani students currently training under the Luban Initiative, a shining example of skills transfer and capacity building.

Since 2016, Tianjin’s Luban Workshops have expanded to 36 centers across 30+ countries, setting a global benchmark for technical education. Pakistan joined this transformative journey in 2018 with the establishment of the Luban Workshop in Lahore.
