Dr. Zhang Yifeng

Dr. Zhang Yifeng is associate professor at Fudan Institute of Belt and Road & Global Governance(BRGG)in Fudan University, China; he is also Deputy Director (non-resident) of Center for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies at Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), China.
The academic fields of Dr. Zhang have been mainly focused on the One Belt and One Road Initiative (OBOR/BRI), China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), American foreign policy toward Central Asia and South Asia, the regional economic cooperation in Greater Central Asia and Shanghai Cooperation Organization. He has also been engaging in the field of global and regional security governance especially on the nontraditional security in Central and South Asia.
Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in History from the Department of History at East China Normal University (ECNU) in 2006. As visiting scholar, Dr. Zhang has visited the Center for American Studies at Hong Kong University, East Asia Program at Cornell University, Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University, and Institute of Central Asia and Caucasus at Johns Hopkins University
